Let the Bridesmaid stand on the stool with the heels at the same time and start to mark all around.
Tips) It’s highly recommended to wear the shoes that the bridesmaid is going to use on the event

Measure down ½ inches from (Line A) from the chalk mark (Line B)start cutting along the line to do the hem. Do this for the outer layer only.

After cutting along Line B, we are going to do the hem. Tip ” If you want a more professional hem use a sewing Basting Tape to make the hem ” Place the sewing basting tape in the inner part of the first layer along the line that you cut for your hem.

We are going to proceed to turn the sewing basting tape to the outer side and sew along the clear seamsticks, after you sew the hem all around, you are going to carefully remove the sewing basting tape

Step 1
Step 2

Once the sewing bast tape is removed hang the dress up and with help of a chalk mark (Line C) along the second layer to make the hem.

For this layer we are not going to measure down anything we are going to cut along the (Line C) and then from there measure down 1/2 inch and fold and sew along the folding with a cover machine for a professional looking hem.

Tip) In order for the two layers to hold on to each other we are going to make a small chain along the side seam on the bottom of the dress on both sides.

You are done! I hope this tips have helped you hemmed your bridesmaid dress.
